Calvary Chapel Christian Lions (Las Vegas, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Mountain View Christian Saints (Las Vegas, NV), 10-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now own a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln County for a 2A- Southern challenge on Friday, April 29. Calvary Chapel Christian will face a Lynx squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Needles (Needles, CA). The Lynx record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, Mountain View Christian falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Saints host Pahranagat Valley (Alamo, NV) to face the Panthers in a 1A Southern challenge on Friday, April 29. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 13-5. Pahranagat Valley won 13-3 in their recent non-league challenge against White Pine (Ely, NV)
