Coldwater Cavaliers (Coldwater, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Fort Recovery Indians (Fort Recovery, OH), 5-2 in a league challenge.

The Cavaliers now own a 14-1 record. They take the field next when they host Parkway for a Midwest Athletic challenge on Thursday, April 28. Coldwater will face a Panthers squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Russia (Russia, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 5-8.

With the loss, Fort Recovery falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Indians host Arcanum (Arcanum, OH) to face the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 2. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 17-3.
