Indiana High School Softball - Columbus East bounces Jennings County

April 26, 2022: North Vernon, IN 47265

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Columbus East Olympians (Columbus, IN) and the host Jennings County Panthers (North Vernon, IN), witnessed Columbus East's softball squad prevail over Jennings County by a count of 14-3.

The Olympians now sport a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Hauser for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 27. Columbus East will meet a Jets squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Indianapolis Lutheran (Indianapolis, IN). The Jets record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Jennings County moves to 6-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to New Albany (New Albany, IN) to meet the Bulldogs in a Hoosier Hills match on Thursday, April 28. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 6-7. New Albany won 12-1 in their recent non-league match against Providence (Clarksville, IN)
