In Tuesday's league contest, the Coon Rapids Cardinals (Coon Rapids, MN) softball team overwhelmed the host Park Center Pirates (Brooklyn Park, MN), by a margin of 14-0.
With the triumph, Coon Rapids moves its record to 1-5 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Elk River (Elk River, MN) to play the Elks in a Northwest Suburban contest on Thursday, April 28. The Elks come into the contest with a record of 0-3.
In their next game, the Pirates play the Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) in a Northwest Suburban contest, on Wednesday, April 27. Park Center will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record.
