Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Randolph Southern Rebels (Lynn, IN), 16-1 in a league challenge.

The Blackhawks now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shenandoah for a Mid-Eastern challenge on Thursday, April 28. Cowan will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Monroe Central (Parker City, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, Randolph Southern falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Rebels host Wes-Del (Gaston, IN) to battle the Warriors in a Mid-Eastern challenge on Thursday, April 28. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 5-6. Wes-Del won 15-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Union City (Union City, IN)
