Indiana High School Softball - Union County bounces Lawrenceburg

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN) and the host Lawrenceburg Tigers (Lawrenceburg, IN), saw Union County's softball squad achieve victory over Lawrenceburg by a count of 9-1.

The Patriots now sport a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richmond for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 27. Union County will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 8-2 league win over Anderson (Anderson, IN). The Red Devils record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Lawrenceburg falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to East Central (St. Leon, IN) to face the Trojans in a Eastern Indiana match on Wednesday, April 27. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 7-5. East Central lost 9-5 in their recent non-league match against Whiteland (Whiteland, IN)
