The Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) softball routed the host McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD), 26-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Patriots (10-2) will now prepare for their bout against Lackey (Indian Head, MD). The Chargers go into the Southern Maryland bout with a 4-7 record. In their last bout, Lackey toppled Great Mills (Great Mills, MD), 13-3, in a league bout.
The Rams now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they host North Point for a Southern Maryland bout on Wednesday, April 27. McDonough will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.
