Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lancers now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mohawk Area for a WPIAL 2A 4 challenge on Friday, April 29. Neshannock will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 10-0 league win over New Brighton (New Brighton, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Union Area falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Scotties host Lincoln (Ellwood City, PA) to battle the Wolverine in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 4. The Wolverine enter the challenge with a record of 8-2.
