The South Cougars softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Salina Central Mustangs to 0 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, South moves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Cougars host Valley Center (Valley Center, KS) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league game on Friday, April 29. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 8-2. Valley Center won 5-0 in their recent non-league game against Andover Central (Andover, KS)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Andover Trojans (Andover, KS) in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division II game, on Friday, April 29. Salina Central will attempt to move on its 2-13 season record.
