Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA) and the visiting Newton North Tigers (Newtonville, MA), saw Braintree's baseball squad knock off Newton North by a count of 5-2.
Coming up next, the Wamps play the Hingham Harbormen (Hingham, MA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 28. Braintree will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Harbormen enter the battle with a 3-4 record after their 8-0 league win over Quincy (Quincy, MA).
The Tigers now possess a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brookline for a non-league battle on Monday, May 1. Newton North will play a Warriors squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Needham (Needham, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-6.
