The Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA) baseball nipped the visiting Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA), 9-8 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Mountaineers encounter the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA) in a Mountain contest, on Tuesday, May 2.
