The Weymouth Wildcats baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Wellesley Raiders to 0 in the Wildcats league victory on Wednesday.
The Wildcats (7-3) will now prepare for their match against Needham (Needham, MA). The Rockets go into the Bay State - Herget match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Needham gained a win over Framingham (Framingham, MA), 4-3, in a non-league match.
The Raiders (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Weston (Weston, MA). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Weston was overwhelmed by Westford Academy (Westford, MA), 4-1, in a league match.
