The Davie War Eagles baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting North Stanly Comets to 6 in the War Eagles non-league victory on Wednesday.
The War Eagles (9-9) will now prepare for their match against Glenn (Kernersville, NC). The Bobcats go into the non-league match with a 2-10 record. In their last match, Glenn was overwhelmed by Davie (Mocksville, NC), 15-0, in a non-league match.
The Comets (7-6) will now prepare for their match against Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals go into the non-league match with a 3-9 record. In their last match, Union Academy was overwhelmed by North Stanly (New London, NC), 6-5, in a non-league match.
