California High School Lacrosse - Newport Harbor overwhelms Los Alamitos

The Newport Harbor Sailors lacrosse team scored 14 points and limited the visiting Los Alamitos Griffins to 8 in the Sailors league triumph on Wednesday.

The Sailors (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Santa Margarita nipped Beckman (Irvine, CA), 12-3, in a non-league battle.

The Griffins now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Huntington Beach for a battle on Thursday, April 27. Los Alamitos will clash with a Oilers squad coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA). The Oilers record now stands at 9-5.
