The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) and the host Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN), saw Lake Central's softball squad achieve victory over Chesterton by a count of 12-1.

The Indians now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Munster for a non-league match on Saturday, April 29. Lake Central will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-4 league loss to Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Chesterton falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Highland (Highland, IN) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Friday, May 12. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 4-4.
