New York High School Lacrosse - Iroquois can't get by Grand Island

April 26, 2023: Grand Island, NY 14072

In Wednesday's league test, the host Grand Island Vikings lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-11 victory over the Iroquois Chiefs.

The Vikings now have a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Williamsville East for a Class C test on Friday, April 28. Grand Island will face a Flames squad coming off a 11-7 league win over Starpoint (Lockport, NY). The Flames record now stands at 3-5.

In their next game, the Chiefs face the West Seneca East Trojans (West Seneca, NY) in a Class C test, on Friday, April 28. Iroquois will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 7-2 record after their 18-5 league win over Lewiston-Porter (Youngstown, NY).
