South Carolina High School Soccer - Spring Valley knocks off Providence

Spring Valley Vikings (Columbia, SC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Providence Panthers (Lexington, SC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Vikings face the Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 28. Spring Valley will attempt to better on its 6-12 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC).
The Panthers now have a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Irmo for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 27. Providence will face a Yellowjackets team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 9-9.
