A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC), 10-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Wonders now own a 2-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Cabarrus for a Greater Metro 4A challenge on Friday, April 28. A.L. Brown will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-13.

With the loss, Salisbury falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Hornets host North Rowan (Spencer, NC) to face the Cavaliers in a Central Carolina 1A/2A challenge on Friday, April 28. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 5-7. North Rowan lost 11-1 in their recent league challenge against South Davidson (Denton, NC)
