Crestview Knights (Convoy, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bath Wildcats (Lima, OH), 8-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ada for a Northwest challenge on Thursday, April 27. Crestview will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Lima Central Catholic (Lima, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Bath falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Defiance (Defiance, OH) to battle the Bulldogs in a Western Buckeye challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 12-4. Defiance won 13-3 in their recent league challenge against Elida (Elida, OH)
