Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Castilleja Gators (Palo Alto, CA) and the host California School for the Deaf Eagles (Fremont, CA), witnessed Castilleja's softball squad prevail over California School for the Deaf by a count of 15-0.

The Gators now sport a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Mercy for a West Bay match on Tuesday, May 2. Castilleja will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 8-6 non-league win over Mills (Millbrae, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, California School for the Deaf moves to 5-4 on the season. The Eagles host Valley Christian (Dublin, CA) to face the Vikings in a Bay Counties - East match on Tuesday, May 2. The Vikings go into the match with a record of 3-4. Valley Christian won 19-14 in their recent league match against Making Waves Academy (Richmond, CA)
