Illinois High School Softball - Walther Christian Academy bounces Christ the King

Walther Christian Academy Broncos (Melrose Park, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Christ the King Gladiators (Chicago, IL), 17-1 in a league challenge.
The Broncos now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 28. Walther Christian Academy will battle a Blazers squad coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Leyden (Franklin Park, IL). The Blazers record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, Christ the King falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to South Shore International (Chicago, IL) to battle the Tars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11. The Tars enter the challenge with a record of 6-1.
