The Colonial Grenadiers routed the visiting Edgewater Eagles softball squad by a count of 21-11 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Grenadiers (11-10) will now prepare for their battle against Cypress Creek (Orlando, FL). The Bears go into the non-league battle with a 10-13 record. In their last battle, Cypress Creek was routed by Poinciana (Kissimmee, FL), 8-3, in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now sport a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Minneola for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 2. Edgewater will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 16-5 non-league win over Ridge Community (Davenport, FL). The Hawks record now stands at 8-13.
