Illinois High School Softball - Richland County bounces Hutsonville/Palestine

Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL) and the visiting Hutsonville/Palestine Tigers (Palestine, IL), witnessed Richland County's softball squad tip Hutsonville/Palestine by a count of 7-2.

The Tigers now sport a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Lawrenceville for a Little Illini match on Thursday, April 27. Richland County will meet a Indians squad coming off a 11-6 non-league win over North Knox (Bicknell, IN). The Indians record now stands at 6-10.

With the loss, Hutsonville/Palestine moves to 4-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to Dugger Union (Dugger, IN) to meet the Bulldogs in a Southern Roads match on Friday, April 28. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 2-7. Dugger Union lost 8-2 in their recent non-league match against Clay City (Clay City, IN)
