The Manti Templars softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Mountain View Bruins to 2 in the Templars non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Manti improves its record to 7-11 on the year. The Templars host Delta (Delta, UT) to clash with the Rabbits in a 3A Region 14 game on Friday, April 28. The Rabbits come into the game with a record of 3-10. Delta won 9-7 in their recent non-league game against Milford (Milford, UT)

In their next game, the Bruins clash with the Lehi Pioneers (Lehi, UT) in a 5A Region 8 match, on Thursday, April 27. Mountain View will attempt to advance on its 6-12 season record. The Pioneers go into the match with a 14-9 record after their 9-3 non-league loss to Grantsville (Grantsville, UT).
