In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Preston Indians (Preston, ID) softball team overwhelmed the host West Side Pirates (Dayton, ID), by a margin of 11-2.

With the triumph, Preston moves its record to 3-6 on the year. The Indians travel to Idaho Falls (Idaho Falls, ID) to play the Tigers in a non-league contest on Friday, April 28. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 9-7. Idaho Falls won 4-3 in their recent league contest against Blackfoot (Blackfoot, ID)

In their next game, the Pirates play the Malad Dragons (Malad, ID) in a 2A South East Idaho contest, on Thursday, April 27. West Side will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Dragons come into the contest with a 11-0 record after their 15-0 league win over Soda Springs (Soda Springs, ID).
