In Wednesday's league outing, the host West Allegheny Indians softball team scored a close 4-2 win over the Western Beaver Golden Beavers.
Coming up next, the Indians encounter the South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 3 outing, on Thursday, April 27. West Allegheny will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Lions enter the outing with a 7-6 record after their 1-0 league loss to Moon Area (Moon Township, PA).
