In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers baseball team scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Custer County Bobcats.
The Pioneers (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Sanford (Sanford, CO). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Sanford was overwhelmed by Centauri (La Jara, CO), 9-5, in a non-league game.
