In Friday's non-league game, the host Ridgewood Maroons baseball team scored a tight 7-3 victory over the Fair Lawn Cutters.
The Maroons (12-1) will now prepare for their game against Nutley (Nutley, NJ). The Maroon Raiders go into the non-league game with a 1-9 record. In their last game, Nutley was overwhelmed by Columbia (Maplewood, NJ), 10-0, in a league game.
The Cutters (7-8) will now prepare for their game against West Milford (West Milford, NJ). The Highlanders go into the Big North - Independence game with a 3-12 record. In their last game, West Milford was overwhelmed by Passaic Valley (Little Falls, NJ), 9-3, in a league game.
