In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Lawrenceville Indians baseball team scored a tight 8-2 victory over the North Knox Warriors.
The Indians (12-9) will now prepare for their game against Newton (Newton, IL). The Eagles go into the Little Illini game with a 12-12 record. In their last game, Newton was overwhelmed by Robinson (Robinson, IL), 5-3, in a league game.
The Warriors (4-9) will now prepare for their game against Northeast Dubois (Dubois, IN). The Jeeps go into the Blue Chip game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, Northeast Dubois was overwhelmed by Mitchell (Mitchell, IN), 10-7, in a non-league game.
