The Newark Charter School Patriots baseball team (Newark, DE), was overwhelmed 8-1 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Sanford Warriors (Hockessin, DE)
The Warriors now hold a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Andrew's for a Independent Schools outing on Tuesday, April 30. Sanford will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Milford (Milford, DE). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-7.
Next, the Patriots confront the Conrad Science Red Wolves (Wilmington, DE) in a Diamond State outing, on Tuesday, April 30. Newark Charter School will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Red Wolves go into the outing with a 7-5 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Smyrna (Smyrna, DE).
