The Anthony Wayne Generals lacrosse team scored 13 points and held the visiting Saline Hornets to 10 in the Generals non-league win on Friday.
The Generals (7-3) will now prepare for their game against Southview (Sylvania, OH). The Cougars go into the Region 5 game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Southview nudged Central Catholic (Toledo, OH), 13-4, in a non-league game.
The Hornets (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Tecumseh (Tecumseh, MI). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, Tecumseh nudged St. Catherine of Siena Academy (Wixom, MI), 9-3, in a non-league game.
