In Friday's league battle, the Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA), by a count of 27-4.
Coming up next, the Eagles clash with the Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA) in a VISAA Division 1 battle, on Tuesday, April 30. Gonzaga will attempt to advance on its 10-5 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 11-3 record after their 12-6 non-league loss to Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD).
The Cardinals now own a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to The Heights for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 30.
