The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Union Catholic Vikings (Scotch Plains, NJ) and the visiting Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ), saw Union Catholic's lacrosse team overcome Clifton by a margin of 8-0.

The Vikings (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against West Orange (West Orange, NJ). The Mountaineers enter the Dowling challenge with a 5-3 record.

The Mustangs (0-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Pompton Lakes (Pompton Lakes, NJ). The Cardinals enter the Dowling challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Pompton Lakes was overwhelmed by Bergen Tech (Hackensack, NJ), 3-2, in a league challenge.
