In Friday's non-league contest, the Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles (Marlborough, MA) softball team held off the visiting Uxbridge Spartans (Uxbridge, MA), by a margin of 4-3.
With the triumph, Advanced Math & Science Academy moves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Eagles host Blackstone Valley RVT (Upton, MA) to play the Beavers in a Colonial Large contest on Monday, April 29. The Beavers come into the contest with a record of 3-3.
In their next game, the Spartans play the Hopedale Blue Raiders (Hopedale, MA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 27. Uxbridge will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Blue Raiders come into the contest with a 7-0 record after their 13-1 league win over Douglas (Douglas, MA).
