The Andover Trojans softball team scored 22 runs and limited the host Newton Railroaders to 11 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Andover moves its record to 7-9 on the year. The Trojans host Salina Central (Salina, KS) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 7. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 7-13.

In their next game, the Railroaders clash with the Maize South Mavericks (Wichita, KS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 30. Newton will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Mavericks come into the game with a 12-3 record after their 11-10 non-league loss to South (Salina, KS).
