Averill Park Warriors (Averill Park, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Columbia Blue Devils (East Greenbush, NY), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jamesville-DeWitt for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. Averill Park will battle a Red Rams squad coming off a 20-1 league win over East Syracuse-Minoa (East Syracuse, NY). The Red Rams record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Columbia falls to 8-3 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Ketcham (Wappingers Falls, NY) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 3-1.
