Brownsburg Bulldogs (Brownsburg, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting McCutcheon Mavericks (Lafayette, IN), 15-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hamilton Southeastern for a Hoosier Crossroads challenge on Friday, May 3. Brownsburg will battle a Royals squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Noblesville (Noblesville, IN). The Royals record now stands at 13-3.

With the loss, McCutcheon falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Columbus North (Columbus, IN) to battle the Bull Dogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. The Bull Dogs enter the challenge with a record of 5-5. Columbus North lost 9-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Living Water Homeschool (Indianapolis, IN)
