Halifax Wildcats (Halifax, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Camp Hill Lions (Camp Hill, PA), 17-16 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy for a challenge on Monday, April 29. Halifax will battle a WolfPack squad coming off a 24-3 league loss to Juniata (Mifflintown, PA). The WolfPack record now stands at 0-13.

With the loss, Camp Hill falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, PA) to battle the Cougars in a Mid-Penn - Capital challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Harrisburg lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Trinity (Camp Hill, PA)
