The Clinton Dragons nipped the visiting Tazewell Bulldogs softball squad by a final score of 4-3 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Dragons (15-12) will now prepare for their battle against DeKalb County (Smithville, TN). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, DeKalb County was edged by Warren County (McMinnville, TN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Marion for a Southwest battle on Tuesday, April 30. Tazewell will battle a Scarlet Hurricanes squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Lebanon (Lebanon, VA). The Scarlet Hurricanes record now stands at 3-5.
