The Patuxent Panthers softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Great Mills Hornets to 9 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Patuxent moves its record to 5-12 on the year. The Panthers travel to Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD) to clash with the Cavaliers in a Southern Maryland game on Tuesday, April 30. The Cavaliers come into the game with a record of 9-5. Calvert lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD)

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD) in a Southern Maryland game, on Wednesday, May 1. Great Mills will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 7-8 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Lackey (Indian Head, MD).
