Ohio High School Softball - Parkway bounces Jay County

April 26, 2024: Rockford, OH 45882

Parkway Panthers (Rockford, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. Parkway will battle a Cadets squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Norwell (Ossian, IN). The Cadets record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Jay County falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Patriots host South Adams (Berne, IN) to battle the Starfires in a Allen County challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Starfires enter the challenge with a record of 9-1.
