Ryle Raiders (Union, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lawrenceburg Tigers (Lawrenceburg, IN), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they host Conner for a District 33 challenge on Monday, April 29. Ryle will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 13-6 non-league win over Owen County (Owenton, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 10-8.

With the loss, Lawrenceburg falls to 10-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Connersville (Connersville, IN) to battle the Spartans in a Eastern Indiana challenge on Monday, April 29. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 8-4. Connersville won 16-1 in their recent league challenge against Greensburg (Greensburg, IN)
