The Alpena Wildcats baseball squad (Alpena, MI), was overwhelmed 6-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Marquette Redmen (Marquette, MI)
With the triumph, Marquette moves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Redmen host Escanaba (Escanaba, MI) to confront the Eskymos in a Great Northern U.P. contest on Monday, April 28. The Eskymos come into the contest with a record of 4-1.
The Wildcats now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Traverse City Central for a Big North contest on Tuesday, April 29.
