Ohio High School Baseball - Botkins prevails Waynesfield-Goshen

The Botkins Trojans baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers to 0 in the Trojans non-league win on Saturday.

The Trojans now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Loramie for a Shelby County test on Monday, April 28. Botkins will clash with a Redskins team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Allen East (Harrod, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 7-5.

With the defeat, Waynesfield-Goshen drops to 3-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Perry (Lima, OH) to clash with the Commodores in a Northwest Central test on Monday, April 28. The Commodores go into the test with a record of 7-3. Perry won 6-3 in their recent non-league test against Botkins (Botkins, OH)
