In Saturday's non-league game, the host Charlevoix Rayders baseball team scored a close 8-7 win over the Manistique Emeralds.
The Rayders (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Ogemaw Heights was tipped by Gladwin (Gladwin, MI), 11-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Emeralds play the Inland Lakes Bulldogs (Indian River, MI) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 26. Manistique will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record.
