New York High School Baseball - Marlboro Central edges Chester

In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Marlboro Central Dukes baseball team scored a close 6-3 win over the Chester Hambletonians.
The Dukes (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Wallkill (Wallkill, NY). The Panthers go into the Section 9 Mid Hudson I game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Wallkill nudged Rondout Valley (Accord, NY), 7-5, in a league game.
Next, the Hambletonians play the Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) in a non-league game, on Sunday, April 27. Chester will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the game with a 6-2 record after their 9-5 non-league loss to John Jay (Hopewell Junction, NY).
