The New Philadelphia Quakers baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Claymont Mustangs to 1 in the Quakers non-league win on Saturday.

The Quakers now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Holmes for a Ohio Cardinal test on Tuesday, April 29. New Philadelphia will clash with a Knights team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Dalton (Dalton, OH). The Knights record now stands at 8-5.

With the defeat, Claymont drops to 6-11 on the year. The Mustangs host Indian Valley (Gnadenhutten, OH) to clash with the Braves in a Inter Valley South test on Monday, April 28. The Braves go into the test with a record of 10-5. Indian Valley won 10-3 in their recent non-league test against Strasburg-Franklin (Strasburg, OH)
