Indiana High School Baseball - Northeastern defeats Cowan

April 26, 2025: Fountain City, IN 47341

The Northeastern Knights baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Cowan Blackhawks to 1 in the Knights non-league win on Saturday.

The Knights now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Union City for a Tri-Eastern test on Tuesday, April 29. Northeastern will play a Indians team coming off a 11-9 non-league win over South Adams (Berne, IN). The Indians record now stands at 4-4.

With the defeat, Cowan drops to 5-4 on the year. The Blackhawks host Seton Catholic (Richmond, IN) to play the Cardinals in a non-league test on Monday, April 28. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 3-5. Seton Catholic lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Cambridge City Lincoln (Cambridge City, IN)
