The Trojans now own a 14-8 record. They take the field next when they host Seneca for a Tri-County challenge on Monday, April 28. Dwight will clash with a Fighting Irish team coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Streator (Streator, IL). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 8-12.

With the defeat, Newark drops to 8-14 on the year. The Norsemen host Serena (Serena, IL) to clash with the Huskers in a Little Ten challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Huskers go into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Serena lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Francis (Wheaton, IL)
