In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes baseball team scored a close 9-7 victory over the Holmen Vikings.
The Old Abes (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Hudson (Hudson, WI). The Raiders enter the Big Rivers game with a 8-2 record. In their last game, Hudson held off Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN), 7-6, in a non-league game.
Next, the Vikings face the La Crosse Logan Rangers (La Crosse, WI) in a Mississippi Valley game, on Monday, April 28. Holmen will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Rangers enter the game with a 6-3 record after their 10-4 non-league win over Adams-Friendship (Adams, WI).
